Hi, I’m Jules
I’m a Libra, certified yoga instructor (RYT 200), self-proclaimed candle addict and astrology lover. I am obsessed with dark chocolate, traveling anywhere and everywhere, Spanish culture, hiking, biking, meaningful chats with frandsss, farmers markets, dogs, spontaneous trips, velvet couches, girl power, chasin’ my dreams, and yes, green smoothies.
What inspired Om & The City?
It all started in college when I became a guest contributor for the wellness website Your Zen Life. I loved writing for YZL and sharing my natural skincare tips. I was so excited when my articles were published, because I’d receive a dozen emails from people asking for more tips. I LIVED for these emails – it made me feel SO good to know my words helped someone. It gave me a purpose. Overtime, I grew a small, but mighty following that kept encouraging me to start my own blog.
After a year of guest blogging, my very own Om & The City was born to share, inspire, and celebrate healthy living from the inside out. Om & The City is all about encouraging healthy habits and mindfulness while balancing a busy, hustle-worthy life.

How did I get into yoga + wellness?
Throughout high school and into college, I struggled with self-love. But, let’s be real: What hormonal teenage girl didn’t struggle with this? I had my battles with depression and body dysmorphia, and it was mentally exhausting. I found yoga when I began interning for a small boutique in Ohio, and the owner also ran a yoga studio. One yoga class turned into five a week (typical all or nothing behavior for me at that time). I fell in love, and the rest is history.

Through Om & The City, I want to share with you what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning through my ever-evolving wellness journey. I hope to inspire you to live a mindful, yet balanced life. So, that means drink the green smoothies, but don’t forget to enjoy the donuts!
