-MEET THE FOUNDER OF MINKA BROOKLYN- I had the honor of meeting Aki, founder of MINKA Brooklyn, about a year ago. Since connecting with her, she has inspired me probably more than she knows. From being a badass mama to three beautiful children to using her spiritual gifts to help others feel more connected and to dig deeper, she’s one gem of a human. Read more about Aki and her journey through spirituality, entrepreneurship, and navigating the balance between business and motherhood.
Since January, I’ve found myself slowly, but surely transitioning into a minimalist. Now more than ever I realize that less truly, truly is more, and it makes me a much happier human. Having less gives me more space to breath, think, move, create, and best of all, connect with what I already have and truly value it.
Been waiting 26 years to turn 26 on September 26th! WOO, I MADE IT. Also, ironically enough as I’m writing this (technically wrote this yesterday), it is 8:26am and I currently have 26 unread emails. Coincidence? Haha… I don’t know what to say, except that I feel incredibly grateful. It has proven time and time again that everything in my life happened for a reason and has led me to this present moment. So, I want to walk you through a pretty personal timeline that really shows how much of my path was a result of two significant beings in my life: Andrew + my blog, Om & The City.
Ahhh, here goes nothing! I am so excited (and nervous), but beyond ecstatic to share with you my official Om & The City YOUTUBE Channel! This has been on my wish list for quite awhile, but I finally carved out the time and figured if not now, when? So, cheers to finally doing the damn thing!
Hi Babes. This is important, so listen up. Stop procrastinating on your dreams. I read a lot of comments from people saying they wish they could do this or that, but they can’t because this or that. Nope. I won’t let you make excuses, because what you want matters. How you decide to spend your time, and ultimately, YOUR LIFE, matters. So, stop letting your dreams take the backseat.
