Been waiting 26 years to turn 26 on September 26th! WOO, I MADE IT. Also, ironically enough as I’m writing this (technically wrote this yesterday), it is 8:26am and I currently have 26 unread emails. Coincidence? Haha… I don’t know what to say, except that I feel incredibly grateful. It has proven time and time again that everything in my life happened for a reason and has led me to this present moment. So, I want to walk you through a pretty personal timeline that really shows how much of my path was a result of two significant beings in my life: Andrew + my blog, Om & The City.
Ahhh, here goes nothing! I am so excited (and nervous), but beyond ecstatic to share with you my official Om & The City YOUTUBE Channel! This has been on my wish list for quite awhile, but I finally carved out the time and figured if not now, when? So, cheers to finally doing the damn thing!
Hi Babes. This is important, so listen up. Stop procrastinating on your dreams. I read a lot of comments from people saying they wish they could do this or that, but they can’t because this or that. Nope. I won’t let you make excuses, because what you want matters. How you decide to spend your time, and ultimately, YOUR LIFE, matters. So, stop letting your dreams take the backseat.
If you’re looking for a sign that you need to slow down and reconnect, this is it. After traveling around Bali for the past 14 days, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is how relaxed and happy everyone is here. I never felt rushed by anyone to do anything – whether it be paying for a delicious meal, taking in a scenic view, or stopping to ask a stranger for directions. Everyone has time or makes time. And if we run out of time, they just say “no worries” and we all move on.
The following post is sponsored by adidas – and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful because the shoes I’m about to share with you are legit THE. BOMB. Read on, my friends. I get a lot of people asking if yoga is my only form of exercise. The answer is: nope! Yoga is hands down me in my element, but as a Libra, I like to keep it balanced. Over the past year, I started mixing in cardio and circuit training (#TeamKayla) to keep my heart healthy and to build back up my endurance that I seemed to have lost when I stopped dancing.
