Photos by Candace Molatore + Outfits courtesy of Beyond Yoga Hi friends! I’m very excited to share that I partnered with the one and only Kait Hurley on a Feel the Love Movement + Meditation Flow! Kait and I met in Arizona last year at MindBodyGreen’s REVITALIZE, and since then, we’ve become fast friends. She’s one of the sweetest and most loving people I know with such a fire for what she does. She’s really the whole package, and someone I deeply admire. I love Kait’s approach to combining movement with meditation, because it makes meditation much easier after working up a sweat. Meditation helps give your body deep rest to recover, so after you workout, you are less antsy and it’s easier to sit.
Hey hello, yogi lovers! My friend and fellow lifestyle blogger, Allison (@allisonclairmurray), came to visit over the weekend, and it was just pure joy with donuts, smiles, and lattes. We put together a series of bendy, twisty, and stretchy partner yoga poses for absolutely anyone to try. Matching wardrobes are not required, but HIGHLY recommended. =)
If you’re reading this, you might have anxiety or have experienced anxious thoughts and emotions. Let me start off by saying, you are not alone. Everyone feels anxious in some degree. Some people experience a very mild and situational anxiety, while others struggle with severe panic attacks. No matter what area you fall into, there are natural ways to help alleviate your pain.
Why hello there, New Yorkers! I’m so stoked to be hosting a FULL MOON GATHERING in a few short weeks! This has been on my wish list since I experienced my very first full moon ceremony back in Nicaragua. It was such a mystical experience, and I wanted to bring some of the magic into my own little event! Spots are limited, so snag a ticket here.
Has it seriously already been 3 years since I launched Om & The City? I cannot imagine life without this space, and I feel very blessed to have started blogging back when I did, because it helped me cope with so much. Om & The City started out as a creative avenue for me to share my wellness knowledge with the small group I acquired through guest blogging for Your Zen Life. Flash forward 3 years, and it has evolved into a little business, but with the same integrity as it did when I first started.
Photos by Victoria Jane Photography I’m a planner, a list-maker, and you’re right to assume I make it a priority to sit down and make my list of New Year’s Resolutions… or rather my ‘Goals of 2017’. Thinking back two years, 2015 was the year of transformation – the year I made big changes in my life, which set my path into motion. 2016 has been all about the aftermath of that transformation – planting the seeds and building out the foundation. Now, this bright & shiny new year – 2017 – is firmly focused on taking action. This will be a pivotal year, I can feel it!
